Kate Falconer

Senior Dietitian

Kate graduated from Deakin University in 2005, with a double degree, a Bachelor of Nutrition and Dietetics, and a Bachelor of Applied Sciences, majoring in Exercise Behaviour. Kate initially worked in both the community health and corporate health arenas, in chronic disease management and preventative health. She has worked at Ballarat Health Services for the past 8 years, and maintains a strong focus on supporting her clients to make life-long behaviour change for improved health outcomes. Kate was very excited by the opportunity to bring Oncology Why Weight? into the BRICC, a program supporting clients to manage their weight with cancer diagnosis, both during and after treatment. This innovative, multidisciplinary program puts Ballarat Health Services at the forefront of providing a service to promote healthy lifestyle choices to aid recovery and reduce the long-term risk of cancer recurrence.

Kate is a Senior Dietitian at Ballarat Health Services and an Accredited Practicing Dietitian
